One day, while going through my vacation photos, my eyes caught a picture of a café veranda in Phuket Town. I remember really wanting to go inside, but we were in a hurry. One photo wasn’t enough to keep the memory alive, so I went on Google Maps to check out more pictures—I was curious to see what it looked like inside. That’s when the idea came to me: to recreate the atmosphere of this café in 3D. It’s hard to say how much time this project took—there were long breaks, sometimes up to a year. During that time, the café changed its design to a more modern look and eventually closed down. Because of these long pauses, I kept starting over from scratch, as nothing felt quite right anymore. Now, while I still have the feeling that the work is complete, I’m eager to share it with you.
