An old truck found by a gang of nomad marauders in a shed in one of the many deserted Russian villages.
The truck was converted into a combat vehicle. A gauss cannon was used from a tank shot down in one of the raids on corporate convoys.
The gun turned out to be a bit too big, so I had to pass the barrel through the cockpit, to the delight of the pilot of the car.
For movement on the ground, a forced nitromethane internal combustion engine is used, and for flights, jet engines from a downed reconnaissance drone and generators of a negative attraction field built into the wheel rims. To impart aerodynamic properties other than a "brick", advanced aerodynamic elements made of composite materials were installed.
P.S.
The idea was to "shove the unpushable" into something similar to a hot rod. Initially, I wanted to use the Soviet 57mm ZIS-2 gun, but after a series of attempts to come up with an ammunition rack and an automatic loader that would fit within the frame and look more or less elegant, I had to abandon the idea and replace the gun with a simpler and more technologically advanced railgun.
The central part of the wheel rim is stationary, only the outer rim with the tire rotates.
In my opinion, frame hot rods are well suited for crossing with the cyberpunk style, in view of the simplicity of their design, namely the frame on which various elements can be hung.
