The Church of St. Nicholas of Mirlikiya was built in 1810 and is located in the conservation zone of the Kizhi Museum-Reserve. The temple standing on the shore was an excellent reference point when vessels were moving in the Kizhi skerries of Lake Onega. The total height of the monument once reached 30 meters. For the construction of the temple used brick on the main part of the walls and wood on the upper part of the temple with domes.
