Состоялся релиз Autograph 2024.04

Released last year, Autograph is hailed as a next-generation tool for motion design and VFX. Like After Effects, it employs a layer-based compositing model, and its timeline includes a standard layer stack and an additional sheet but combines it with a 3D mode for working with 3D assets. The 3D workflow is based on a universal scene description, and the software comes with its own real-time physics-based renderer, Filament.
Autograph boasts simplicity of use: its generator system is described as a simpler alternative to node graphs, and modifiers are a simpler alternative to expressions. However, Autograph's main feature is that it's the "first responsive video software," with a workflow geared toward artists who need to deliver projects in various resolutions and aspect ratios.

In Autograph 2024.04, new features have been added for animating objects along motion paths. Users can modify the shape of trajectories by dragging control points, and the Motion Path tool allows adjusting keyframes directly in the viewport. The Retime Graph can be used to control the speed of object movement along the trajectory, with users able to choose from over 40 types of interpolation.
The update also introduces a new Layout tool for arranging objects in the viewport with standard control options for alignment, even distribution, or mirroring. Text tools in the program have received new interpolation and easing modes for text animation, as well as the ability to use fonts not installed locally by dragging TTF or OTF files to the project panel. Additionally, new modifiers have been added, including Film Grain and Trigger Animation.

Improvements to the workflow include a new overview panel and project tree for navigating generators and modifiers in the composition, as well as a quick access menu for adding new ones. Now, parameters can be copied and pasted between items on the project panel. Additionally, Autograph has beta support for standard 3D file formats other than USD: the program now includes importers for glTF, FBX, OBJ, STL, and PLY files.

Autograph 2024.4 is compatible with Windows 10 and above, Ubuntu 22.04 and above, RHEL/Rocky Linux 8 and above, as well as macOS 10.15 and above. In macOS 11.0 and above, the software supports Apple Silicon processors natively. Perpetual licenses for Autograph Creator for users with annual income of less than one million dollars per year cost $945; rental options are $35 per month or $315 per year. Perpetual licenses for Autograph Studio cost $1795; rental options are $59 per month or $599 per year.
