I was looking for an interesting and unusual model of medium complexity to create. My main task was to work out the skills of all stages of the pipeline, structure them and highlight the most important things to speed up the creation of subsequent works. I also wanted to work with metal, glass, and textures in general.
There weren't many references on the Internet, so I created them from what I found, and adapted some of the details. The drawing inside the dial is taken from a "Chateau Leclair" watch.
To improve the texture quality, the model was divided into 4 UV spaces, one of which was allocated for glass. I created the draft, low-poly, and high-poly models in Blender. UV mapping in RizomUV. Texturing in Adobe Substance 3D Painter. Bake and final renders in Marmoset Toolbag and Photoshop.
